April is an avid believer in continuing education, which is one reason why working with member associations has always appealed to her. She has attained her certificate as a Certified Association Executive (CAE) from the American Society of Association Executives as well as a Certificate in Non-profit Management, ASU Non-profit Management Institute.
She has committed her entire career to non-profit management. April is comfortable and competent working with a wide range of professional, trade and charitable organizations of all sizes. She has served as Executive Director for local, regional and national organizations throughout her career.
She has served in a variety of positions related to healthcare, including planning medical conferences, symposiums, and other related events. These events were located throughout the US and included a thoughtful marketing and PR plan to build interest that translated to sold out events, sold out exhibit space and a creative and fun social experience that attendees enjoyed.
She is an active member of the American Association of Medical Society Executives (AAMSE), American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the California Society of Association Executives (CalSAE).
